President’s Message

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Singapore Manufacturing Federation's (SMF) interactive website.

Established since 1932, SMF has been championing the manufacturing and manufacturing-related industries in Singapore. With the recent economic restructuring, SMF is dedicated to help companies transform their businesses and achieve sustainable growth in the face of incoming challenges such as manpower crunch and rising rental costs. Corporate transformation is often a slow and painful exercise. However, SMF will assist our members to accelerate this transformation process by organising a diverse range of activities and initiatives through our Centres of Excellence, Industry Groups, and Global Business Group. Such activities can range from staff upskilling, trade fairs and missions, to providing business advisory on utilising government grants.

This website constitutes only a small portion of the total package of services we offer to members and non-members alike. Currently, our membership includes over 3,000 companies from a wide spectrum of manufacturing industries, consisting of both MNCs and SMEs.

By supporting Singapore manufacturers through its comprehensive array of service and product offerings, SMF strives to enhance their performance and thereby to establish Singapore as one of the premier manufacturing hubs in Asia.
