SMF will submit all application forms to its Executive Committee for approval. Membership of the Federation shall cease if a member serves written notice of resignation to the Council to take effect not less than 30 days from the date of receipt of such notice and when such notice is being acknowledged by SMF in writing. The subscription fee covers up to the last day of the notice period. A member whose membership has ceased shall not be eligible for SMF membership for a period of two(2) years from the date of cessation unless the Council decides otherwise. I agree. Membership fees The entrance fee for all categories of membership shall be $200 + prevailing GST. Subscription fees are payable in advance, on a yearly basis in January, and no refund will be made to any members who resigned or terminated during any of the twelve(12) months' period. If a member fails to pay his subscriptions or any other monies due and owing to SMF with the relevant period as stipulated in the Constitution, or such other longer periods as the SMF council may from time to time specify, the SMF Council may take such actions as it deems appropriate, subject to the Constitution, including but not limited to suspension of all rights, privileges and benefits of such members and/or termination of the membership. Members who join SMF under any promotion scheme are required to keep their membership for at least 12 months. I agree.
